This is an 'open' team, which means the admins will auto-accept any request to join, and you can get in fast. The only app i feel even completes close to this space is Status Encrypted Messenger, but it has high hurdles because of ultra-anonymous nature and account seeds being improperly stored/lost. Install Keybase Download Keybase and enter 'hackup' from the teams tab. Let’s see what keybase does amazingly:Ģ) Requires no identifying information to create a profileĥ) BONUS: built-in crypto wallet to as a nice replacement for venmo/zelle and introduction to crypto for newbies!Ħ) other neat features: cloud storage up to 250gb, git repos, big teams (slack-like messenger for FREE), bot integrations, the list goes on.ġ) sluggish, but i assume it’s because of the encryption/decryption stepsĢ) race for good usernames and cannot change usernames afterwards You can (finally) search open team names from within the Keybase chat search. Then, team leaders can obtain the task statements from the translation system (click the button in the red circle). Keybase users symmetricly encrypt all data in a chat channel using this key. They rotate this key whenever anyone in the team revokes a device (and more frequently for exploding messages). This is a random 32-byte key that all members of the team can see. any admin can 'close' the team by signing a new link on the team's chain. In Keybase, team members share a symmetric per-team key. ![]() if someone asks for access, any one of the admins will auto-approve them without any human review. ![]() I have been looking for an encrypted and easy-to-use messenger as a longtime disappointed user of iMessages/Signal/WhatsApp. Keybase team discovery has moved into the app. The crypto: when an admin checks that box, they sign an announcement into the team's sigchain, notifying themselves and other admins that the team is now open. ![]()
